Last month on 17 and 18 October the BAMA Forum and Awards Dinner was held at Oulton Hall near Leeds in West Yorkshire. Once regarded as a ‘modest eighteenth-century house’, it’s now a splendid four-star luxury hotel and conference centre and an ideal venue for BAMA’s annual conference.

Tin vs Aluminium

Bisphenol A is an organic synthetic colourless compound, discovered by Russian chemist Aleksandr Dianin in 1891, and has been in commercial use since 1957. BPA-based plastics include certain polycarbonates for use in various consumer products, such as plastic water bottles, CDs and DVDs, and epoxy resins, which are used to line water pipes and the insides of many food and beverage cans.
