The British are famous for their love of talking about the weather and it really has been one of the worst August’s on record over here. Thank goodness there seems to be a bit of sunshine on the horizon, we’re all keeping our fingers crossed for an Indian summer!

Companies that rely on aluminium for their products such as drinks cans and deodorant bottles should start expecting consumers to demand the metal is ethically sourced, according to ex-minister, Lord Barker, chairman of aluminium producer EN+ Group. Read more here.
Worryingly, it seems that supply chain issues and Brexit red-tape are causing major disruptions to the UK beverage market. The bottling business for Coca-Cola in the UK and Europe has become the latest company to face supply chain issues as it reported a shortage of aluminium cans. With Nespresso now reporting similar issues, industry experts have said we could see shortages of consumer goods right up to Christmas.
