Flat steel producer Tosyalı Toyo has initiated trial production to double its tinplate capacity to 650,000 tonnes from 325,000t, according to Turkish media citing board member Kadir Tosyalı. The facility, which handles approximately 70% of Turkey’s tin exports, is expected to be fully operational by year’s end, strengthening Turkey’s domestic steel supply and export capabilities….
