November Issue 170 – Comment

Say Hello! to the overhauled and revitalised Canmaking News, which we hope you appreciate; we’ve invested a lot of time and effort making it more readable and responsive, with the aim of boosting our readership and thus promoting your business.   Here is our first news alert to keep you informed.

Canmaking News will now be updated as we get the industry news, so you’ll receive these news alerts once we have published new stories.  A   Feature article will be added each month and a mail shot will still be sent out to remind you of what you might be missing.

We’ll also be printing a glossy annual, ‘The Best of Canmaking News 2019’, which will be mailed to our subscribers early in the New Year. Please ask for editorial and advertising opportunities – Remember, you will need to subscribe or advertise to read the leading online magazine for the metal packaging industry.

This Autumn, as in the preceding autumns for the past ten years, saw the British Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association Annual Forum and Awards Dinner take place at the fabulous Oulton Hall in Leeds, West Yorkshire; our very own Janis Osborn was there for the duration, where she met the Reverend Richard Coles – celebrated humourist and broadcaster as well as Church of England priest. This month’s Feature looks at the highlights of the conference and the BAMA awards.

As usual our News in Brief and World News sections cover the main stories in metal packaging both at home and internationally.
