The Shows Must Go On . . .

It’s official, it’s Spring, the clocks have gone forward in the UK and we’re all feeling very positive here at Canmaking News – we’ve had a busy start to our year that shows no sign of letting up anytime soon. Talking of shows, there are a few in the offing so here’s a reminder of some you might want to get booked onto.

The International Metal Decorating and Packaging Association  (IMDPA) Annual Scholarship Golf Outing, Banquet and 2 -Day Conference is just around the corner, starting with the golf outing and banquet on Tuesday 21 May, with the conference taking place on Wednesday 22 May – Thursday 23 May at its usual venue in Oak Brook, Illinois and we’ll be there to cover the event.

Alongside the provision of its tabletop exhibits, which provide the chance to promote your company and showcase your technology, IMDPA also offer sponsorship opportunities, whereby you demonstrate your commitment to metal packaging. Sponsor benefits include: getting your name in front of a targeted audience of over 300 industry professionals; receiving a free listing in the Sponsor & Exhibitor Prospectus booklet, on-site signs and banners throughout the conference complex, a special attendees badge, a logo placement/hyperlink on the IMDPA website for 12 months and a free listing in the Resource directory. Being a sponsor comes with the added bonus of a complimentary table top display during the Sponsor Hosted Hospitality Event.

We have also been busy finalising our arrangements for METPACK 2020, it doesn’t seem possible that nearly two years have passed since our last visit to Messe Essen. We’ll let you know more when we’re done.  Don’t forget, as we mentioned in last month’s issue – those wishing to attend will need to register by 31 May 2019.
